Already reported but i didn’t find a real solution. However reinstalling amarok seems to work…

This seems to work.
In the past few days i experienced that my sound-system was somehow messed up after some time. And I’m pretty sure, that the firefox flash plugin has something to do with it. However the quick-and-dirty fix is to reload the sound system.
sudo alsa force-reload
This will reload all necessary sound-modules.
If you experience screen flickering at random times you can try adding
(for copy&paste check the “)
to /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-kernel-nkc (Ubuntu) in order to fix some timer problems between the driver and compiz-fusion.
